Students often make small format/grammar mistakes that cause the system to mark their answers incorrect. For example, if a student is asked to enter values in order, they may type, "x,y,z" while the accepted answer is "x, y, z." Responses like this should be flagged for review, and teachers should be able to override the score.
This is the reason I do not use the online versions of the test. If this was available, it would make the online test versions viable.
We appreciate you taking the time to submit your valuable idea to the Realize development team. Your input is important to us, and we are considering it as a potential future enhancement to the Realize platform.
Your voice matters, and we encourage you to continue voting and sharing your thoughts with colleagues. This will help us identify which ideas are the most impactful for our users. Thank you again for contributing to the improvement of Savvas Realize.
This would be helpful! Especially when some questions require entering units and some don't. Also, if they don't enter money in to the hundredths place it marks it wrong.
PLEASE DO THIS AND YES I AM YELLING!
I want to be able to give my students credit for a silly typo or not putting a period.
This is somewhat possible today by entering a new value in the Total Score value for an assignment. While it will not change the auto-scored item specifically requested here, it will change the overall and visible score for the assignment. For a single-part assignment, this effectively will update the score as requested here. For a multi-part assignment, the teacher may need to calculate the desired change for the total score based on an update needed for one part of the assignment.
