They need to be able to lock a quiz/assessment to prevent students from going to another browser (cheating).
Yes, please! We recreate assessments in Pear Deck Assessment so we can lock students out of other tasks.
Lock assessment. Otherwise, scores may not reflect an accurate account of true student knowledge.
I love this program (enVision Algebra I); it is so complete. But, as of this year I have had to recreate all quizzes and tests in Google Forms because of the cheating.
This should be a feature! There are direct questions and answers online and students can open tabs and search for the answer. A locked option, like on Google Forms, will help stop students from looking up answers. Also, teachers will transfer tests and quizzes to a Google Form and run the risk of sharing materials.
Between not having this option, kids being VERY tech savvy, AND now the watches, my 5th graders have figured out how to cheat.
I know this is a future consideration, but it seems like this should be an obvious feature. Maybe move this to a priority consideration?
The ability to password an assignment (test/quiz) would make this easier. Password given in class and needed to access the assessment.
