On cases where in the students are no longer allowed to submit any other late work (situation not limited to end of the school year or end of the grading period), I believe it will be a great idea to be able to close the assignment itself. This would also work best for when quizzes are assigned. So that the teacher are capable of having the quiz only open during the designated class hour. And should not be available any hour anymore. At the moment, we are able to hide it manually after the hour, BUT we are not able to access the scores anymore, which means we have to unhide the test. It would be nice to be able to see scores even if they are already hidden.
