Grade 3 Topic 15

  • The book's definition of parallel lines is incorrect - they are lines that never touch, not opposite equal lengths.

  • Need to classify shapes/identify attributes before we compare them.

  • Explicit instruction needs on what polygons are & what attributes are (specifically angles).

  • Concave/convex is not touched on enough/way above their heads.

  • 4 lessons is too much information too quickly.
