Single Grade for Playlist Activities Merged

Before the recent update (12/2024), the top tab format for activities and the less-than-prominent "Turn In" button often led to confusion among students, resulting in incomplete assignments and delayed submissions.

I'd like to request a change to how individual assignments within a playlist are presented and submitted to improve the student experience and reduce these issues.

Grading Preferences:

• Single Grade for Playlist: I prefer assigning a single grade for a playlist of activities to facilitate holistic assessment and streamline the grading process.

• Individual Grading Option: The ability to assign individual grades for specific activities should remain available for flexibility.

Proposed Solution:

1. Clear List View: Display individual assignments in a numbered list format to enhance visibility and clarity.

2. Progress Indicator: Include a progress indicator (e.g., 1/3, 2/3, 3/3) next to each assignment to help students track their progress within the playlist.

3. Visual Cues: Utilize visual cues such as progress bars or checklists to provide a more intuitive overview of assignment completion status.

4. Prominent "Turn In" Button: Position a highly visible "Turn In" button at the end of the assignment list to encourage timely submission of all completed assignments.

5. Change name: I'd like the ability to rename assigned playlists, similar to the previous functionality.

By implementing these changes, we can significantly improve the student experience, increase assignment completion rates, and simplify the grading process for both students and teachers.
