Savvas strives to provide an excellent customer experience, and as a result of your feedback, we've reverted back to the previous assignment functionality. When we revisit this area for updates in the future, we'll make sure to keep the key features that maintain critical functionality.
Need this fixed asap
This new update is horrible for both students and teachers. Please change back ASAP!
What was the meeting like to make this decision?
CEO: "We have too many schools using our program and it's clogging our servers... how can we get schools to drop our program before Christmas break?"
Spawn of Satan programmer: "I know.... let's make it so that when teachers post a lesson it actually posts every single page as an inidivdual assignment... blowing up student emails, Google classrooms, and making it completely unusable."
CEO: "Good start, what else you got?"
Spawn of Satan programmer: "Let's release this update on a Monday morning without any warning... so the teacher randomly has their lesson backfire in the middle of their first period class."
CEO: "'You're on to something, what else?"
Spawn of Satan programmer: "Let's add a little notification to their old lessons telling them about the update with friendly exclamation marks as if it's a good thing. Gaslighting them into thinking we are actually trying to help."
CEO: "Great work... you are promoted!"
This new feature is ridiculous! Playlists become pointless. Please change it back or add the option of posting as individual assignments or as a playlist..
This new feature is awful. Savvas and Google Classroom have become a cluttered mess. Please revert back to the previous way of grouping assignments.
Please revert back. playlists are unusable until this is remedied.
Please revert the assignments back the way it was. I can't do my lessons until it is fixed
New feature of assigning playlists as individual assignments is overwhelming on students screens. NEED a way to mark as an optional assignment OR no due date ASAP. Would love ability to group assignments into one post to prevent clutter and keep organized.
