As a math teacher, this would be very helpful for everyone parents, teachers, students, and administrators. When students are absent, we would be able to assign the video to them and they would not get behind. Many parents complain they need help helping their child, this would be a good option that we could assign to the students so the parents could see it. Also, there are days we have to miss. It would be nice to not have to loose a day of teaching. We could assign the video and the sub could play it or the students could watch it on their own computer. It would also help administrators because when they get complaints about the parent and student not understanding then the teacher could send a video of the lesson. Finally, when students are sent to alternative school or another type of punishment when they are away from class, we could assign the video so they would not get behind and help teacher cut down on having to send a lot of paperwork to the student. The virtual nerd videos are good, but not comprehensive - these videos would cover the teaching of the entire lesson.
