There is a need for teachers to be able to gather quick feedback from students, all in on place. This could be a "Do you get it?" - thumbs up/thumbs down type of question or an informal assessment or practice item teachers want students to try, for example as an exit ticket. In addition to asking questions/receiving responses, we need the ability to consolidate the information quickly for a teacher. For example, 9/10 answered thumbs up, or 10% chose A, 25% chose B, 60% chose C, 5% chose D (and highlight which was was correct), etc.
I think students would like the opportunity to poll throughout the unit, perhaps in an exit ticker. This can be similar to the El ilit poll idea.
