Our teachers have been using SavvyWriter and truly appreciate the platform’s focus on supporting student writing. However, we would love to suggest a few enhancements that would make it even more user-friendly and aligned with how students and teachers are accustomed to writing and revising in digital environments.
Specifically, it would be extremely helpful if SavvyWriter functioned more like a Google Doc in the following ways:
Allowing users to easily indent paragraphs using the tab key.
Enabling writers to press “Enter” to begin a new paragraph seamlessly.
Making it simpler to add and format dialogue, which can be cumbersome in the current version.
Including an auto-save feature or more visible save status to prevent lost work.
Providing an easy-to-access revision history, so teachers can monitor student progress and feedback over time.
These updates would make the writing process smoother for students and the feedback process more efficient for teachers. Thank you for considering these suggestions. We believe they would make a significant difference in classroom usability and overall engagement.
