Define Variables and Subscripts Somewhere in the Physics Diagrams

In the slideshows provided, they are often cropped or reduced images from the textbook, but there is rarely any defining of variables or variable subscripts provided either on the slideshow or in the presenter notes. That would be incredibly helpful in either space to have these variables defined at least for the first time they are used in a slideshow. The etext figures could also benefit from this being added even if they are only listed in a figure legend or something.
