Drop down menu of students to add/remove when creating assignments

It would be helpful if when I assign a customized lesson, that I could choose the students that get the assignment in a drop-down list, rather than go look them up in my gradebook to add them. I wish that there was a drop-down list of my students for each class and I clicked on the students that get that assignment, or remove students that don't get that assignment. This is so helpful for students with special needs and then for the rest of the class that would get a different customized assignment. This is true for all assignments, not just MathXL, but quizzes, and tests also.

    Thanks for sharing this! This ability exists today. There are a couple of ways to allow for this:

    1. Share an assignment with a class and then individually "Hide Student" if you don't want specific students to get the class assignment; OR;

    2. Create a "Group" and add specific students to that group. And teachers can create assignments to be shared only with certain groups

    Hope these options will help in your classrooms.

    Best regards from Savvas!

    Yes, please add this option. I teach HS math and only want the students that are present to get an assessment. Right now the option is to assign to the whole class or manually enter each students name one at a time. This takes up to 5 minutes of students waiting until the program moves fast enough to type them all in. It would also be helpful to be able to remove students from the drop down menu.

    This! When I have absent students it would be nice to be able to choose the class and then be able to remove kids from having the quiz or test rather than having type all the kids that are there and assign it to them!
