Autoscoring - mark equivalent answers correct or allow teachers to override auto-scores

Autoscoring marks answers incorrectly that are mathematically equivalent and should be marked correct. For example, a student puts 4.40 as their answer and is marked wrong because they did not write 4.4. Without the instruction indicating what specific form the answer should be in, equivalent answers should also be marked correct. OR the teacher should have the option to override the auto-score and mark it correct.

    Thanks for sharing your feedback. Today, we do provide teachers the ability to override auto-generated scores. This is available in the right scoring panel.

    However, specifically regarding the example of considering 4.40 as 4.4, I have tagged our Editorial team on this. Request you to kindly raise a Support ticket for this specific issue with details on which program you noticed this issue in. Alternatively, you can also provide feedback right from the program / page in Realize. Hope this helps!
