Additional Due Date

Can we get a current due date and a late due date? I expect students to finish assignments that day as homework, but I don't want to close the assignment until the test date. If they see the test date, they won't do the assignment and wrongly assume they have lots of time. Also, IEP students get time and a half, that due dates makes them think they have time after the test to complete the assignment.

For Google Classroom, the first due date would be listed. The close date would not be listed.

Thanks for your feedback. Currently, we do not stop any student from submitting assignments, even after the due date. However, we do label late submissions as "late" so that teacher can differentiate between assignments that were submitted before due-date and ones that get submitted after the due-date. Alternatively, you can also create a group for IEP students and create assignments for this group with a different due date. Hope these solutions help!

    Best regards,
