We were switched over from enVision 2020 to 2024 and our teachers lost their shared playlists, which stemmed from teachers no longer having access to the 2020 edition of Savvas. During the early stages of our enVision adoption, teacher teams collaborated extensively to modify online assessments—a process that required significant time and effort. Typically, one teacher in each team would modify the assignments within their enVision account and share them with their colleagues.
However, only the original creator of these shared assignments can grant others access to them. To regain access, the original creator must recreate the shared assignments by building a new playlist and sharing it with the team. Over the years, as teacher teams have changed, the current teachers are now reaching out to former team members (if they are still in the district) to try to create and share new playlists.
This situation has been far from ideal, and I hope Savvas considers implementing a solution for future use. It would be extremely helpful if teachers could download and "own" shared playlists. This would address potential challenges, such as when a teacher leaves the district, changes roles and loses enVision access, or if enVision undergoes another update. Without such a fix, we risk encountering the same issue repeatedly.
