I have noticed some fairly significant flaws, omissions, and errors in the Experience Physics materials. Answer keys with incorrect solutions and assessments with missing components are the most common. The I3 E2 quiz on orbital motion is missing a necessary graphic for question 4 on the digital version of the quiz that is administered through the Savvas Realize platform. Good thing its on the Google Doc version. That same quiz is also missing information students need to solve the problem. Are they supposed to memorize the mass and radius of Neptune? I have also seen quizzes that have already had the multiple choice questions answered in the document that is meant to be printed and given to students. Digital quizzes are inconsistent when it comes to awarding patial credit for multi-part answers.
The deeper I go into the physics materials Savvas has created, the more and more it looks like my taxpayer money has gone to purchase a product that is either incomplete or that has been assembled in the most slap-dash of manners.
