Late submission notification

Teachers need an easy way to be notified or aware that an assignment has been submitted in Savvas. Students in my class do this when they are turning in late or absent work. Teachers also need an efficient way to get to the submitted assignment. Maybe an email with a link to the assignment that was submitted. This email notification should also be in settings that teachers can opt in or opt of getting when a submission has been made.

    What's crazy is that last semester I got an instant notification email every single time a kid turned in an assignment late. This semester, I don't get any notifications about late turn-ins. I don't know what the difference is this year, but I know our district had tremendous difficulty getting our classes set up at the start of this school year. Can we please change it back so that I get the notifications, because the way it is now, I never notice if a kid submitted late work. It never makes it to the grade book, and ends up as wasted effort on the kid's part.
