I understand copyright issues. I have multiple ELL students with varying languages. I get that there is a way to translate on the computer but it would be much easier for ELL students to have a physical copy that they can highlight and write on. A lot of my ELL students are new to the country and don't have access to a computer or internet at home. Another issue is showing them how to access the textbook online and showing them how to do the translation themselves is quite difficult with the language barrier. It would be much easier if there was a way to download and print a copy. Maybe there is a way to limit how many copies of the text you print? I am not sure how it would work with copyright but I know previous resources I have used provide PDF copies to print in Spanish at least.
