Our school is in the process of training all staff on close reading strategies. For math word problems, it would be great to allow students to annotate on MathXL as they are practicing. Showing work on the screen, like underlining, highlighting and jotting a note next to the problem would be helpful as the student is working through the word problem. I know this annotation tools are located on the Student Interactive part, but extending those say tools to MathXLs would be helpful.
