This is very frustrating. Once students figure this out, they guess until it tells them the answer and then type in that answer. They will do well on daily assignments but fail the tests due to the assignments just giving them the answer. How on earth would anyone think that this is a good way for students to learn? I used to teach the old curriculum DIGITS. I was able to limit students' attempts, I don't understand why I can't now. This should be an easy fix. I am great with it giving them hints to figure out what they made their mistake. If they give the answer, then they should give a new problem for them to work. Best solution would to let teachers choose how many attempts they get at the problem.
