What a teacher needs is efficiency and this program appears not to have been designed with that thought in mind. While I appreciate this venue for sharing ideas I realize it is also a way to let teachers imagine someone cares and is listening to their ideas without necessarily requiring any type of response by the creators. This program has never allowed alteration of the naming conventions by an individual teacher. This is a simple fix by a nerdy programmer but, despite my having brought this up a number of times over the years directly and indirectly, no change has been made to help students and teachers identify and navigate the program efficiently and accurately by allowing a simple alteration of the class name (and icons for that matter--really, 14 simplistic comic icons! That's all? God forbid I could have something as simple as a number to indicate my 1st period class to make things clearer!). Nonetheless, I will write this on your "allow-them-to-vent-under-the-auspices-that-we-might-do-something-about-it" thread. I will also apologize to all the teachers here on your behalf as we repeatedly waste our time here on this Island of Lost Toys.

Teachers should be allowed to rename their classes. It's not easy to see which class is which. Thank you.
Currently there is functionality within our nightly ingestion process for districts to customize the class names. In order to do so they must schedule an integration review.
This would make my life so much easier!
