Students frequently accidentally submit assessments, and then I have to reassign a new one, and they need to start over. I would like an option to return/reopen the assignment, so the student can finish or make revisions if necessary. This would help keep data for the assignment all in one place. Students who make little effort could be asked to go back and make corrections. At the very least, add a prompt that asks "are you sure you want to submit?" after a student clicks submit to avoid this accidental submission, which happens very frequently.
Hi! We do have this feature for assessments - there is a "Return" option after the student has submitted their work. Is this different than what you are looking for? We do not currently have this feature for other content types, but that is coming soon.
