Algorithmic Assessment Questions for Topic Assessments

There are so many periods in a day and cheating is rampant. Teachers NEED a way to give an assessment that covers a concept and the algorithmic problems allow for problems to not be the same and allows the students to focus on the learning and not...

Reduce visual clutter of audio support buttons

The big black bars used for audio support are very distracting and make it harder for students to navigate online resources than it needs to be. It's not important for students to have a bar available to scrub through the audio when it's already b...

Provide students the ability to write/type on worksheets in SavvasEasyBridge or make worksheets autograde-able.

As we move into a more digital age, the worksheets that we can download aren't enough. Please make it so students can complete the worksheets in Savvas without having to go through a ton of steps to do so.

Edit Instructions example: students are told "with your partner" or "in your group"

Instructions need to be editable to work with all student populations. Some of our students will need further modifications than what are listed, and others are working independently and unable to engage in peer group learning. Teachers would love...

Accept equivalent forms of a number for answers.

On assignments or tests it should accept equivalent forms of a number (such as fractions or terminating decimals) or it should be more specific on if it wants the answer written as a fraction or decimal. Most of the time it only says "simplify ans...

Allow teachers to update acceptable answers online.

When students type their answers on the online programs (practice buddy, quick check, topic assessments, etc.) please allow multiple acceptable answers. For example, if a student types 0.40 instead of 0.4, it should be counted correct.

Allow teachers to customize list of programs on home page

Teachers may load more than 5 programs into Realize. They should get to decide which appear on the right of the dashboard. The programs they star should appear at the top. It's annoying to have to go to the Browse tab for the most-used program.

Dark Mode

I have a student who struggles with ADHD and her vision. She takes all of her paper tests on green paper instead of white. I would like for there to be a dark mode setting within Savvas. Even when we change it on Chrome, it doesn't affect Savvas.

Group Grading

I would like Savvas to consider allowing teachers to grade assignments by groups they create.

ability to block or assign specific games to specific students

I would like to assign specific games at specific grade levels to certain students based on their needs and the lessons I have taught. In addition, it would be nice to be able to lock specific students into their own grade level for games.
