PINNED Grade handwritten student work online
Teachers would like to have an AI-based tool that auto-grades student handwritten work like math homework and handwritten essays. This could be done by the student submitting photos of their work or by the teacher scanning the documents.

Assessment features needed

It would be great for students to be able to strikeout answers they know are wrong. It would also be nice for students to be able to annotate and highlight on the assessment texts.

View all grades for all students and assignments (virtual gradebook)

Teachers should be able to view all grades for all students for all assignments just as we do in our gradebooks.

Add an autosaving/revision history feature in Savvy Writer

A few of our students have lost all of their work in step 4 of Savvy writer and were not able to recover it. Please add an autosave/revision history component to Savvy writer so that if something goes wrong, students could revert back to their mos...

Being able to print student work from Savvy Writer.

I often times like to have paper copies of student writing and would like the capability to print it without having to copy and paste it into an external document.

Class Groups

We are able to create classroom groups in the Savvas Realize program. It would be nice to be able to sort out these students in order to view their scores on assignments, quizzes, and tests. Some schools use just one blanketed class for all studen...

Cumulative Assessment Reveiws

It would be great for students to have a review for the cumulative assessments. I would recommend it being shorter than the actual assessment, with just the most essential items on it to refresh students memory and help prepare them for the cumula...

Appropriate Grade Level Texts (Lexile)

The texts are too far above their grade level. For example, the unit test for Romeo and Juliet for ninth grade has a passage from Christopher Marlowe. This is above a 1500 Lexile score, which can be a college-level Lexile score.

Make an option to remove / delete assignments for individual students and for an entire class.

I can hide an assignment, but you can only hide it for an entire class. For students that are excused from an assignment, it is confusing for them to still see it appear when they login to Savvas.

When you copy test, you should be able to open questions and change answer choices for accommodations.

This would benefit many teachers. What we need is when you are assigning a selection test, teachers should have the option to customize questions as well. Not just delete questions.
