PINNED Grade handwritten student work online
Teachers would like to have an AI-based tool that auto-grades student handwritten work like math homework and handwritten essays. This could be done by the student submitting photos of their work or by the teacher scanning the documents.

    Allow Text to Speech on Student Interactive Activities and Lesson Review Slideshows

    Students with IEP accommodations should be able to have online interactive activities read aloud to them. The currently do not have that option.

    Allow data to show only for selected items chosen by teacher instead of all turned in assignments.

    Many assignments we do together in class and submit. I would like to be able to select out just quizzes and assessments and see the standard performances based only on what I select to look at.

    Rearrange order within unit

    Ability to hide or reorganize the order of how assignments are seen within the units in Realize.

    Make slide show for each part of ELA: Foundational Skills, Reading and Writing.

    My schedule changes each year, so it would be more helpful to just open reading when I am teaching reading. Having all the parts together makes it hard to present when I don't teach in that slide order. I do not want to change the slides every year.

    Interactive Journal

    If the Interactive Journal is actually interactive, it would be nice if the maps were interactive as well. At a minimum, it would be nice to drag and drop location names.

    Offer audio option for BOY/MOY/EOY and unit tests as required by many student IEP's.

    Some students have IEPs that require an audio option. This feature would also allow ELA students to demonstrate competency in standards related to critical thinking, vocabulary, and comprehension.

    Library

    I use 2 Savvas programs and my "library" does not differentiate between one book from the other (one ELA and 0ne Social Studies), This is not user friendly.

    Active Journal

    Make the Active Journal more user friendly for students instead of having them toggle between the etext and the journal page.

    Provide whole class data for Close Read questions

    Currently there is no way to see whole class data for trends in student responses for Close Reads. The only way to access this information is by individual students.
