ADD A NEW IDEA

Pinned ideas

PINNED Grade handwritten student work online
Teachers would like to have an AI-based tool that auto-grades student handwritten work like math homework and handwritten essays. This could be done by the student submitting photos of their work or by the teacher scanning the documents.

Add custom questions without using a test bank

Rather than having to create custom questions in a test bank first, I'd like to be able to add new custom questions directly within an assessment.

Make guided notes (fill in the blank) available to assign to students to be used with the slideshows and/or etext

It would be very helpful to have guided notes available that were fill in the blank and modifiable by the teacher to go along with the lesson slideshows and etext. These would be assigned to students that need modifications.

Eliminate Close Read Notes during Audio readings of main text. This is distracting for students during the first read.

It would benefit students to listen to the audio without the distractions of the close read notes.

Build Standard Assignment

It is possible to build tests, but it would be nice to also build custom assignments where students can have multiple attempts.

Spanish only platform

As a dual language program a majority of classrooms lead instruction in Spanish. At the moment we struggle and waste precious time trying to navigate the platform because Spanish is not prioritized. If we had separate platforms for both Spanish an...

Enable full screen capability when viewing/interacting with the student text.

When displaying the text for whole group lessons, we are unable to display the full page on the screen without adjusting the display settings. It would be great to have a full screen option for the student version of the text that we can display a...

Filter in my library

I now have 275 SAVVAS assignments that I've created in my library. It would be nice to have some kind of filter such as date created or curriculum used etc. to get to the ones I need faster

Ability to see assessment results by standard

It would be helpful to be able to run a district-level assessment report by standard. This way, districts could track progress on identified priority standards in a more streamlined way.

screen viewing is difficult for students when I have to scroll up and down using the scroll option on the right side of the screen

The whole page of information should be able to be presented to first grade students without having to scroll up or down. It separates questions from responses, which makes it clunky for student use.
